Vera Arcieri, wife of the late Dr. Alfred F. Arcieri and mother of Dr. Michael F. Arcieri, brings over 50 years of experience and dedication to the practice. Born in Malden, Massachusetts, and the daughter of Italian immigrants, Vera graduated from Malden High School and the Boston School of Dental Nursing. She began her career in a dental office in Malden but was drawn to South Boston (which she had never even heard of) by a want-ad that promised a modern, air-conditioned office—a rare perk at the time. After working alongside Dr. Alfred for several years, they married, and as they say, the rest is history. Together, they were married for thirty years, raised three sons, and cared for their elderly parents.
Some years after Dr. Alfred’s passing, Vera returned to 590 East Broadway where she serves as an expert administrator, assistant, and the warm voice patients hear on the phone. Outside the office, Vera cherishes time with her family, including her five grandchildren and Monty, the family dog. She also enjoys spending time with friends and taking day trips to Cape Cod.
Vera’s warmth, dedication, and decades of experience have made her a beloved part of the practice. As a welcoming face and reassuring voice, she has been there for patients through the years, furthering the legacy of her husband, Dr. Alfred Arcieri. Vera’s presence brings a sense of continuity and trust, helping every patient feel at home.
